Anna McConnaughy catches snake

Passengers were surprised to see a flight attendant grabbing a sleeping snake with her bare hands and placing it into a plastic bag.

A spokesperson for Ravn Alaska, said that a passenger who got off in Aniak, reported that he left his pet snake behind on the plane.

However, the plane was already on its way back to Anchorage.

The pilot was notified about the snake, and a flight attendant warned passengers that a reptile was on board. During the flight, a young boy noticed the snake and alerted his mother.

The snake appeared to be sleeping under a duffle bag. Flight attendant Anna McConnaughy, approached and grabbed the snake with her bare hands.

She placed the reptile in a plastic bag and stored it in an overhead storage compartment until the plane landed in Anchorage.

The snake was off white and about 5 feet long. McConnaughy said that she is not afraid of snakes, but she doesn’t like them.

The owner of the snake did not register the reptile before the flight. The airline does not allow animals on board planes expect for service dogs.
