Police are looking for the drug dealer who hiked the price of marijuana after a woman called them to complaint, according to police in Australia.
The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services said that they have received an unusual call on Monday.
A woman called the emergency number and complained that her drug dealer hiked the price of marijuana. She demanded that police investigate the drug dealer because the price was too high.
When police asked her for more information, she hung up the phone.
“Is your drug dealer ripping you off? A call to police yesterday had to top the list of ‘unusual’. A woman called police to complain about the price of marijuana in her community, reporting that her local drug dealer had asked for more money than the usual.
“Completely offended, the woman demanded that police investigate this ‘outrageous’ price hike. When asked for further details, the woman hung up. If you know a drug dealer who is ripping you off, give us a call, we’d love to help,” police wrote in Facebook.
The Facebook post went viral, getting nearly 16,000 shares and attracting more than 11,000 comments.
