Police launched an investigation after an out of control police dog pushed an innocent woman onto grain tracks, according to police in Germany.
Nuremberg police said that the police dog pushed the woman onto the train tracks because it was taught to protect its handler from threats.
Investigators believe that the innocent woman came to close to the police officer and therefore, the dog pushed her away. The incident unfolded at an S-Bahn railway station on Sunday afternoon.
The federal police officer was patrolling the platform with a police dog following a football game.
A video that was uploaded to YouTube, shows the police dog barking at a child who was standing on the platform, waiting for a train.
The police officers tried to restrain the out of control dog when the 54-year-old woman approached and tried to pass the them.
However, the dog pushed the woman off the platform and onto the train tracks.
A commuter and a police officer quickly came to her aid and pulled her up to the platform before a train arrived at the station.
The woman suffered minor injuries from the fall.
