Four suicide bombers kill 15 in northeast Nigeria, police say

Four suicide bombers killed 15 people in a crowded market in the town of Madagali in Nigeria’s northeastern Adamawa state on Friday morning, a police spokesman said.

The spokesman, speaking by telephone, did not identify any suspects. Suicide bombings are common in Nigeria’s northeast, which is the centre of jihadist group Boko Haram’s attempts to create an Islamic state.
