A ‘super computer’ has estimated the final Premier League table

Let’s take a look at this interesting prediction

A ‘super computer’ has been programmed to estimate what the final Premier League standings will be come May, and looks like it may be pretty spot on with its prediction.

Despite being the first week of 2017, many a football fan may want to put their money where their mouth is and predict the final line up, and having a go on this wouldn’t be a bad bet.

Here it is:

1. Chelsea
2. Liverpool
3. Manchester City
4. Manchester United
5. Tottenham Hotspur
6. Arsenal
7. Everton
8. Southampton
9. West Bromwich Albion
10. Bournemouth
11. Stoke City
12. West Ham United
13. Leicester City
14. Watford
15. Burnley
16. Sunderland
17. Crystal Palace
18. Middlesbrough
19. Swansea
20. Hull City

Antonio Conte’s Blues have been unsurprisingly predicted as champions following an extremely impressive first half of the season, while Jurgen Klopp’s are said to have just missed out.

Arsenal are seen as missing out on the top four for the first time under the reign of Arsene Wenger, which would probably spell the end for his tenure.

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth may well finish in the top 10 after some scalps against the big guns at home, while reigning champions Leicester City have slipped down a huge 12 places from their final position last season.

David Moyes is said to have saved his Sunderland side from the drop, while, quite surprisingly, Aitor Karanka’s side haven’t done the same.

No one could argue that suggesting Hull and Swansea are set to go down is a fair point, but only time will tell to see if this computerised prediction lives up to it’s billing.
