The oldest man ever to be convicted of a serious crime in the United Kingdom, has been sentenced to serve 13 years in prison after being found guilty of raping young girls.
101-year-old Ralph Clarke of Erdington, has been found guilty of 21 counts for abusing two young girls multiple times.
Clarke also pleaded guilty to 9 counts in connection with the sexual abuse of a young boy.
According to the criminal complaint, Clarke worked as a truck driver and a handyman at the time that he abused the children, who were identified as two girls and a boy.
One of the victims was just 7 years old. Two of Clarke’s victims entered a police station several months ago, and filed a complaint against him.
The victims told police that some of the abuses took place in a garage at Clarke’s home as well as in shed and workshop, which he used as a man cave.
He also sexually assaulted the children in the cabin of his truck.
Clarke was a member of the Royal Air Force.
