A taxi driver was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly raping two women and sexually assaulting a third, according to police in Japan.

Osaka police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Kohei Onishi, after being accused of sexually assaulting a female passenger in the back seat of his taxi.

Onishi was charged with two counts of rape and one count of indecent assault.

According to the criminal complaint, Onishi picked up a 20-year-old woman, but instead of taking her to where she wanted to go, he sexually assaulted her in the back seat of the taxi.
