A man who was hired as Santa Claus at a shopping mall in Florida, was removed and sent to counseling after telling a child that Hillary Clinton was on the naughty list.
The incident unfolded on Tuesday night, at the Seminole Towne Center in Sanford.
A mother of two children called the Towne Center management, and complained that Santa told her 10-year-old girl that Clinton was on his naughty list, and he then laughed about it.
Santa did say that the girl was on his nice list after she told him what she wanted for Christmas.
The company that hired the Santa, The Noerr Program, Inc., immediately removed the man from the mall and sent him to counseling.
The man insisted that he just made a joke. A spokesperson for the company apologized to the girl and her offended mother.
