A man and woman were placed on a curfew after they were caught having sex in a store.
The mother of two children in Ripon, England, was in a convenience store with her boyfriend when they decided to get intimate.
According to employees, Antoinette Liddell, 34, and Matthew Farrell, 31, started making loud moaning sounds while they were standing next to some shelves in the store.
A McColl’s store employee told the court that Farrell had his pants down and Liddell was performing a sex act on him.
The worker ordered the couple to leave the store and called police. Store employee Sam Allen checked the security camera and handed over the x-rated footage to police, and they were arrested.
Police said that both suspects were drunk at the time.
In court, Liddell and Farrell kept their heads down in shame as the magistrates said that the video was too graphic to be shown in court.
An attorney for Farrell and Liddell, said that they “feel deeply ashamed and embarrassed by their conduct, so much so that they have not touched a drop of alcohol since the incident.”
The two suspects who were dating for one year, were sentenced to a 12-month community order, and they were given a curfew from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at their homes.
Farrell was also told to attend a 10-day rehabilitation course.
