Mother allows at least 7 exotic wild animals roam in her home with her young daughter

A mother was arrested after police found that she had exotic animals in her home.

Police in Texas, said that the mother allowed the exotic and dangerous animals in her home, where they roamed around freely and endangered her 14-year-old daughter.

34-year-old Trisha Meyer was arrested after police investigated her on a complaint that she allegedly scammed a man of California, who had tried to buy a kitten from her for $3,000.

The man told police that he gave Meyer the money, but she never gave him the kitten.

When Houston police officers arrived at the home, they found three tigers, a cougar, a skunk, a fox and several monkeys wandering freely in her living room, bedroom and kitchen with her 14-year-old daughter.

The teenager was seen petting them.

Meyer admitted to the police that the animals could be dangerous, and that some of the monkeys were “vicious.”

She admitted that one of the monkeys attacked other people.

Meyer lived in a rented home on the 11000 block of Cypresswood Drive. Meyer was charged with child endangerment. She is being held on $2,000 bail.
