Brad Pitt isn’t letting his kids go without a fight.
The 52-year-old actor has filed for joint legal and physical custody of his six children with wife Angelina Jolie, according to paperwork filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Jolie requested sole custody of Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne when she filed for divorce in September.
Pitt filed for custody of all six children, including Maddox, who has recently refused to see his father after an alleged violent incident on a flight.
A source recently told the Daily News that the “Moneyball” actor never got physical with any of his six children, but said that an incident did occur.
“While this was not his best moment, it’s being inaccurately described,” the source said. “He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse.”
Jolie sat through four hours of questioning with the FBI about the accusations and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services reportedly expanded their investigation.
Maddox and Pitt reunited at the end of September with a therapist present, part of a temporary custody agreement.
Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 19, citing irreconcilable differences.
“It’s premature to say a divorce war is brewing,” one source said Friday.
Sources previously confirmed to the Daily News that the couple reached a voluntary agreement to share physical custody.
The temporary agreement was due to expire Oct 20 but has continued, sources said.
No permanent settlement has been announced.
