Two men were arrested on a charge of rape after being accused of tying up a boyfriend and raping his girlfriend as he watched, according to police in Nigeria.
Lagos police said that they are still looking to arrest six additional suspects who were accused of assaulting the boyfriend identified as Ganiu, before proceeding to rape the woman identified as Ibiyemi.
According to the victims, they were walking home when they were approached by a group of eight men. They were both beaten and dragged to their home.
The men then tied up the boyfriend, and proceeded to rape the woman in front of him. Ganiu told police that he does not know what prompted the attack.
The suspects live in the same neighborhood as the victims.
