A woman was arrested on a charge of burglary after allegedly breaking into a home and having sex with her boyfriend, according to police in Tennessee.
Memphis police said that they have arrested Tonka Barnes, after being caught having sex with her boyfriend on a couch in the home of Jamie Barnes.
In court, Tonka, who is not related to Jamie, pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated burglary. Her boyfriend is still at large.
According to the criminal complaint, Jamie came home after being away for a few days, and noticed that her front door is open.
When she went into her house, she found Tonka having sex with a man on her couch. She grabbed a broom and ran after the man.
Jamie stopped the chase after the man ran into an alleyway.
Neighbors told police that they saw the couple removing clothes and jewelry from Jamie’s home and selling the stuff on the street.
Jamie said that she decided to move away from the area.
