A teacher was arrested on a charge of making indecent images after being accused of kidnapping a teenage girl and taking photos of her naked body, according to police in the United Kingdom.
Now, 57-year-old Gary Baum of Penruddock, has been sentenced to serve 8 months in prison after pleading guilty in connection with the abduction of the 15-year-old girl.
Baum was slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years, and ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years.
Baum told investigators that he made 80 indecent photographs of the girl. He carried on with a secret relationship with the girl for several months.
He denied having sex with the girl, but investigators found the teacher and the victim swapped naked photo of each other.
The judge told Baum that as a teacher he abused his position of trust.
