Teacher distracts cashier so that student can steal beer

A teacher taught her student a lot more than his parents bargained for.

Police in Virginia, have arrested the teacher in along with a student after they were caught on surveillance camera stealing a case of beer from a gas station.

The Fairfax County Police Department said that they arrested 30-year-old Fabiana Alicia Ciammaichella of Reston, who is a Spanish teacher at the South Lakes High School.

Officers also arrested Adelmo Ernesto Arias Guillen, 18, who is a sophomore at the high school.

The teacher and student are facing charges of theft and drug possession.

Police said that the surveillance video shows the two entering the gas station convenience store at about 11:00 p.m.

Ciammaichella distracted the cashier, while Guillen stole a case of beer. He left and she followed soon after.

Ciammaichella then got into her car, picked up Guillen and drove off.

Police went to the teacher’s home, where they found her and the teenager along with the case of beer and illegal drugs.

Ciammaichella was suspended from her job after the school learned about her arrest.
