Principal jailed after ordering students to put their hands down each other’s underwear as he performed sex acts

A Principal of the United Kingdom, was jailed after it was discovered that he used his young students for his sexual pleasure.

Judge Zoe Smith sentenced William Duxbury for five years in prison for the offenses that happened when he was at the Deddington Primary School in Oxfordshire.

The court heard that Duxbury, who is now 88 years old, committed the crimes in the 1980s, while he was the principal of the school.

The victims told the court that Duxbury ordered seven and eight year old students to sit around a table. He placed a boy next to a girl and then another boy next to another girl.

He then ordered each child to put their hands down the underwear of the child sitting next to them. The students said that the principal pleasured himself while watching them doing so to each other.

They also said that Duxbury blocked the door with a big cabinet so that nobody can come in to see what he was doing.

The students told a teacher about the crimes as soon as it happened. Duxbury was suspended from the school and police were called.

However, back then, police did not arrest the principal due to “lack of evidence.” Duxbury then fled from the area and started a new life elsewhere.

However, the students who are now grown, decided to file another criminal complaint and Duxbury, who now lives in Plymouth, Devon, was arrested.

After a trial, he was convicted of four counts of indecent assault and 12 counts of indecency with a child.

During sentencing, Judge Smith took into account that Duxbury did not plead guilty and each of his victims had to relive the horror while testifying against him.

Duxbury was also subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. This will prevent him from having contact with children under the age of 16 without the consent of authorities.
