A man is facing charges for damaging a vehicle after he threw a sausage during an argument.
Police in Germany, were called after a 49-year-old man lost his temper and damaged a BMW with a 30 centimeter long sausage.
According to police, the 49-year-old man was walking through the city of Neubrandenburg, with his young son when a 47-year-old driver maneuvered his car around them.
When he got in front of the two, he parked his car.
The father became angry over the carelessness of the parking manoeuvre, and gave the other driver a piece of his mind.
However, the 47-year-old driver did not take the insult lying down, and the men got into a screaming match before things got physical.
The 49-year-old man then used the only weapon he had, the sausage, and threw it at the car with such force that it left a dent in the framework of the vehicle.
Police believe that the a metal clip at the end of the sausage caused the damage.
Both men are facing charges of assault, and the 49-year-old man is facing additional charges of property damage, police said.
