Man bites off nose of friend who threw him out of house for drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after being accused of biting off his friend’s nose during a fight, according to police in Canada.

Now, Randall Edwin MacLean of Pictou, has been found guilty of aggravated assault for biting off the nose of Paul Gaudet.

According to the criminal complaint, MacLean came to Gaudet’s home for the wake of their friend Howard Miller. Around 10 people were present when MacLean began drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.

When MacLean asked Gaudet’s sister, Mary Jane Malloy, for another drink, the victim decided to throw him out of the house.

As MacLean was being pushed out the door, he bit off the nose of Gaudet. The court heard that all the people at the wake were drunk.

MacLean admitted to biting the nose of his friend, but he defended his actions, saying that he was acting in self defense as he was being punched in the face.

A judge rejected his defense, and MacLean was found guilty of aggravated assault.
