Adult son beats up his father for throwing away his Lego collection

A father and son were arrested on a charge of battery after allegedly punching each other during a fight of discarded Lego, according to police in Florida.

Port St. Lucie said that they have arrested 46-year-old Nicholas Melice, Sr. and 19-year-old Nicholas Melice, Jr. after the son came to his father’s home and learned that his Lego collection had been discarded.

In court, both suspects pleaded not guilty to one count of domestic battery. They were booked into jail. According to the police investigation, the son currently lives in Jupiter.

On Tuesday, the son came to visit his father. At some point. He learned that his father had discarded his entire Lego collection.

The son became extremely angry and a fight broke out between the two. The two suspects punched and scratched each other.

Police were unable to determine who was the aggressor, and both were arrested. The father and son both urged police to pursue criminal charges.
