World is bigger than five, says Hollywood’s Lindsay Lohan during visit to refugees in Istanbul

Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan, who is known for her speculative life, visited Syrian refugees in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul on Sept. 26, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Lohan gave presents to Syrian children during her visit to a house, bursting into tears after she saw the refugees’ situation.

In addition, Lohan also took to social media to express her feelings about the visit before leaving the country.

She shared a picture via her Instagram account, using the hashtag “#theworldisbiggerthan5,” a motto frequently used by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in reference to the U.N. Security Council’s permanent members.

Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Abdurrahim Boynukalın said Lohan was impressed by the Syrian refugees during her visit.

“She was impressed by the hospital serving the Syrian refugees and the Syrian medics who are working at this hospital in Sultanbeyli. She said that she wanted to work there on her next visit,” Boynukalın said.
