Police are looking to arrest an armed robber after allegedly stealing a pizza pie from an employee of a pizza shop, according to police in Florida.

Daytona Beach police said that a young man, who was not identified, pointed a machine gun at an employee of Pizza Hut, and demanded his food and money.

The pizza delivery person, who was identified as Seth Rath, handed over a pizza pie, a 2-litre bottle of Mountain Dew soda, and $20 in cash around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The suspect then fled from the scene.

19-year-old Trenton Johnson, who was near the Pizza Hut located at 832 N. Nova Road, told police that a man offered him a free slice of pizza before running away.

Police determined that the pizza man was the armed robber.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 25 years old, and around 6 feet tall. He was clean shaven, and was wearing a purple shirt and jeans.
