Three armed men beat homeowner and his dog after not finding any cash to steal

Police are looking to arrest three men and a charge of assault after being accused of breaking into a home and assaulting the owner, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Manchester police said that the incident unfolded sometime between 10:50 p.m. on Friday and 1:50 a.m. on Saturday.

According to the homeowner, three men forced their way into his house located on Sherwood Grove. The men, who were armed, threatened the victim, and demanded cash and property.

When they did not find any cash to steal, they assaulted the homeowner and his dog. They then fled the scene empty handed.

All three men were described as slim build. They were wearing dark clothing and spoke in a Liverpool accent.

“This was a terrifying experience for the victim and has left him extremely shaken. It has also left his dog, who was simply trying to defend him, traumatized,”
