Taylor Swift flashes smile following breakup with Tom Hiddleston

Taylor Swift knows a post-breakup picture’s worth a thousand words.

Maybe that’s why she’s flashing a smile in a new photo snapped by paparazzi a day after her reported split from actor Tom Hiddleston.

The 26-year-old pop star held her head high as she sauntered out of the Body By Simone workout studio in Manhattan on Wednesday morning despite the apparent blank space in her dating life.

Swift ended her less-than-three months romance with the “Thor” actor because he was too eager to step out with her in the spotlight, Us Weekly reported on Tuesday.

“She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship,” an insider told the magazine. “Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection, but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up.”

The “Blank Space” singer’s relationship with the 35-year-old film star went public in mid-June when they were spotted kissing and cozying up to each other on a Rhode Island beach , mere weeks after Swift ended things with DJ Calvin Harris.

Swift and Hiddleston then toured around the world together, visiting Rome, London and Australia while meeting each other’s parents in a matter of weeks.

The duo, which swooning fans affectionately dubbed Hiddleswift, notably spent the Fourth of July together at a star-studded soiree near her Rhode Island home, where Hiddleston infamously wore a tank top reading “I Love T.S.”

Swift never publicly commented on the relationship, though Hiddleston confirmed they were indeed an item shortly after the Independence Day bash.

“The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy,” he told The Hollywood Reporter, assuring that their romance was “not a publicity stunt.”

Hiddleston is apparently “embarrassed” that his relationship with Swift ended, though it “wasn’t a bad breakup,” the source told Us Weekly.
