Out of control monkeys attack group of golfers looking for lost ball

Police launched an investigation after several out of control monkeys attacked a group of players looking for a lost golf ball, according to police in Japan.

Atsugi City police said that one player was taken to a hospital with injuries after being bitten by one of the monkeys.

According to the police investigation, four people, two women and two men, went to play golf on Sunday night. While playing golf, the group of players lost a ball.

As they were searching for the ball, two monkeys came out of the woods and attacked them. A 45-year-old man was bitten on the leg as he was running away from the monkeys.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released. Doctors expect his wound to heal within a month.

Several regular golfers reported that they had seen the monkeys in the past, but this was the first time that they attacked.
