Married police officer rapes his teenage cousin in his home while wife was asleep

A police officer was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly raping his teenage cousin while his wife was asleep, according to police in California.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 34-year-old Sergio Ramirez, who is a police officer in Indio, after being accused of raping his 18-year-old cousin who was staying in his home.

Ramirez was charged with rape by force or fear, oral copulation by force or violence and forcible sexual penetration. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $85,000.

According to the police investigation, the victim was staying at the police officer’s home, and planned to stay at the home until college.

However, one night, Ramirez entered her room while she slept and lied down beside her in bed. She felt uncomfortable, and moved to another room, where she fell asleep on a couch.

She woke up to find Ramirez sexually assaulting her.

After the assault, she fled to a friend’s house and then went to Eisenhower Medical Center, where she underwent a sexual assault examination.

Ramirez asked his wife to lie to police and ordered his cousin not to do the exam at the hospital. Ramirez’s wife then washed the victim’s clothes to remove DNA from the sexual assault.
