Police were called to arrest a man who was seen pleasuring himself on an airplane.
The man was on an American Airlines flight going from New York to Charlotte, North Carolina.
40-year-old Arthur David Fischer of New Orleans, is accused of violating aircraft laws against obscene / indecent exposure of the genitals and / or engage in masturbation in a plane.
Several witnesses who were sitting near Fischer at the time, told police that they saw him in the act.
Fischer reportedly told police that he had an erection after takeoff and covered his private parts with his jacket. However, he denied pleasuring himself, and said that he was cleaning his
crotch area with a wipe because it “smelled bad.”
Fischer also said that his genitals may have been exposed at some point because he felt a “breeze.”
One woman who was sitting near Fischer, said that he placed his hands in his pants and exposed himself. The woman then changed seats with a male relative, according to the police report.
