Leonardo DiCaprio gives directions to elderly couple that doesn’t seem to recognize him

You’d think they would know the face now that he finally won that Oscar.

Leonardo DiCaprio incognito in shades, a newsboy cap and cargo shorts whipped out his phone Friday evening in downtown New York to help a directions-seeking elderly couple that didn’t seem to recognize him, photos obtained by the Daily News show.

The actor-turned-environmentalist was also spotted walking a dog along the Hudson River.

That same day, DiCaprio spoke at United Nations headquarters about climate change and previewed a trailer for his new documentary, “Before the Flood.”

“I stand #WithRefugees including those displaced by #climatechange,” he captioned a photo of himself with Stevie Wonder, linking to a UN Refugee Agency petition.

At the Our Ocean conference Thursday in Washington, D.C., he also introduced the new online tool Global Fishing Watch a collaborative effort from Google, Oceana and SkyTruth to help spy on illegal fishing.
