Kim Kardashian just roasted the Wall Street Journal for publishing an ad denying the Armenian Genocide.
The Armenian reality TV star took out her own ad in the New York Times this weekend to retaliate against WSJ’s insensitive decision.
“For the Wall Street Journal to publish something like this is reckless, upsetting and dangerous,” Kardashian wrote in the full-page ad.
“It’s one thing when a crappy tabloid profits from a made-up scandal, but for a trusted publication like WSJ to profit from genocide, it’s shameful and unacceptable,” she continued.
Kardashian, 35, previously blasted the Journal when the ad was publicized in April.
The April 20 ad for Fact Check Armenia displayed the words “Truth = Peace” along with a hand flashing a peace sign and the Turkish flag.
The organization denies as many as 1.5 million Armenians were systematically killed by the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century.
“Money talks, and right now it’s talking crap,” Kardashian started off her advertisement.
“When I heard about this full-page ad that ran in the Wall Street Journal denying the Armenian genocide, I couldn’t just brush it off.”
Kardashian’s ad was printed along with the supporter of the Armenian Education Foundation.
Kim and her sisters visited a memorial to the genocide in Yerevan in April 2015.
