Katy Perry proved her multitasking prowess Monday, aiding in the delivery of her sister Angela Hudson’s newborn before getting right back to cranking out music.
“Helped deliver my sister’s baby at 2pm & am in the studio by 8pm. GET A GIRL THAT CAN DO BOTH,” the “Firework” singer tweeted.
But the feat of facilitating childbirth is old hat for Perry, who did just that in February 2014, reportedly also for her sister.
“Finally you can add ‘helps delivers babies in living rooms’ to my resume! It’s been a miracle of a day… Auntie Katy aka Stylist Auntie,” she trumpeted at the time.
The pop star tacked Monday’s busyness onto an already eventful summer, which included bringing down the house at July’s Democratic National Convention with her new songs “Roar” and “Rise.”
She also sparked new controversy this weekend in her longstanding bad blood with Taylor Swift, tweeting back to a fan who asked if the two stars would ever collaborate.
“If she says sorry, sure!” Perry wrote.
