A billionaire of Italy, filed a lawsuit against his model wife after she disappeared and was later seen with another man.
Gianluca Cervara filed a police report when his wife disappeared after saying that she was going out for a walk, but she was nowhere to be found.
The couple, who lived in Milan, got married in December, and they seemed to be happy. However, she vanished seven just month later.
24-year-old Anna Zayachivska, who was the winner of Miss Ukraine beauty contest in 2013, wrote loving messages to her husband on social media sites in the weeks before her disappearance.
She allegedly took £5,000 ($6,596) from her husband’s safe before she disappeared.
The concerned husband was shocked when he saw Instagram photos, showing his wife with another man in New York City.
She also had many photos of her, on which she appeared to working as a model in New York.
Cervara is suing his wife for non-compliance of their marriage contract, as she violated their prenup agreement.
Zayachivska said that she ran away from home because her husband was physically abusive towards her.
She claims that he spit in her face during an argument and that he was not compassionate when she was feeling ill.
“I had headaches for a week, but Gianluca did not care about them. Finally, I decided that I needed to make changes as I was fed up of living in a golden cage, and I ran away,” she said.
Cervara denied the allegations of abuse and he said: “all I can say is that she is not the person she is pretending to be.”
