A man was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession after being seen smoking marijuana out of an avocado while driving, according to police in Florida.
The Taney County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 21-year-old Benjamin Hensley, after he was stopped for driving with a broken tail light.
Hensley has been charged with marijuana possession and possessing drug paraphernalia. According to the criminal complaint, Hensley was pulled over by police on Saturday around 9:35 p.m.
When police wanted to notify the driver that he had a broken tail light, they sensed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the car.
Hensley told police that he had been smoking marijuana out of an avocado. Hensley then handed over the avocado to the officers.
Hensley pulled out a small bag of pot from the center console of the car and turned it over to police.
