A family in Raleigh, West Virginia, was left shattered after a young boy committed suicide.

The family said that 9-year-old Jackson Grubb, seemed to be upset in the days leading up to his death.

The parents spoke to him and attempted to figure out how to get him to talk about what was on his mind.

His family said that Grubb had been bullied by some children from the Sophia Soak Creek Elementary school. The bullies, sometimes went to the boy’s trailer park home and waited for him to come out so that they can torment him, the family said.

In an attempt make more friends, the boy built a tree house.
However, when that did not seem to work, the 9-year-old boy became very distraught.

One day, when his sister when into his room to cheer him up, she found him hanging. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No foul play is suspected by authorities in his death.

The family set up a GoFundMe page to raise $3,000 for funeral expenses. The family has already raised $13,000.
