A group of paramedics in Connecticut, rushed to help a squirrel in distress, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.
The Enfield EMS were called to assist a squirrel that had its head stuck in a Yoplait yogurt cup.
Paramedics who arrived at the scene, saw the squirrel hopping widely around a parking lot in order to get the yogurt cup off its head, but it was unsuccessful.
The paramedics who were not identified, then used a red blanket to capture the squirrel and hold it steady while pulling the cup off its head.
During the first attempt, the paramedics failed as the squirrel managed to break free from their grip. On the second try, the paramedics were successful in removing the cup.
The squirrel quickly fled from the scene without giving any thanks to its rescuers.
The video of the rescue was uploaded to Facebook, where it went viral, receiving more than 1,000 likes and nearly 3,000 shares. Watch video below…
