A gas station in Russia, announced a promotion, giving away a free tank to those who come dressed in bikinis.
The Olvi gas station in Samara, did not specify the gender in their promotion material due to discrimination laws, prompting men and women to show up dressed in bikinis and high heels.
Although the mandatory dress code seemed aimed at women, the rules have not indicated that you have to be a woman in order to qualify for the promotion, and some men were quick to take advantage.
Photos snapped by passersby and published on social media sites, show men wearing swimsuits and women walking awkwardly to the service station after filling their tanks.
One man said that he gladly took five minutes of shame to get a free tank of gas that will last for a week.
While most of the beneficiaries were in fact women of all ages, some of them even holding babies, witnesses at the scene said that some scantily clad women went to collect their free tank of gas while their boyfriends waited in the driver’s seat of the cars.
