Police recruitment: Aptitude test begins today

The Police Service Commission ( PSC) will conduct aptitude test for shortlisted applicants for recruitment into the police today. This is contained in a statement by its Mr Ikechukwu Ani, head, Press and Public Relations, yesterday, in Abuja.

Ani said coordinators for the exercise were already in their states of deployment to ensure success of the process. He said commission Chairman Mr Mike Okiro had advised successful applicants yet to receive invitation via e-mail, to check their names at the police command headquarters in their states.

He said the list containing names of invited applicants were pasted in all state command Headquarters.
The spokesman said the commission would ensure that no successful and qualified candidate would be left out.

PSC shortlisted 110,469 of 338,250 for the aptitude test from 991,438 applications received.
The 110,469 applicants comprise 22,454 for Cadet ASPs, 24,456 for Cadet Inspectors and 63,559 for Constables.
