A mother was arrested after setting a bad example for her kids.
The mother is accused of driving her sons to a homeless man so they can shoot him.
36-year-old Amina El-Zayat of Florida, who owns a car wash in DeLand, was fed up with a homeless man who went through her trash every night.
El-Zayat drove her three boys to her car wash at 1:20 a.m., and they confronted the homeless man, who was identified as Travis Martin, 35.
Martin said that when the family cursed at him, he became scared and walked across the street to a gas station. El-Zayat followed him and allowed her three underage sons to shoot their bb guns at the homeless man, police said.
El-Zayat told police that Martin was going through the trash at her Woodland Boulevard business, and he left behind a mess.
The businesswoman told police that she was tired of cleaning up the mess every morning, so one of her sons “told her that they could shoot at the homeless man with their airsoft guns,” the police report stated.
She was charged with aggravated battery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child neglect.
