Meet the adorable dog that keeps an Australian Museum seagull-free

“Seagull Security Guard” is an actual job title, but before you ask where to apply you should know the gig is takenby a dog named Bailey.

The rescue Border Collie is in charge of making sure seagulls don’t make a mess on the vessels and wharf in Pyrmont, an inner-city suburb of Sydney where the Australian National Maritime Museum is located.

Before bringing Bailey on the team, the museum tried spraying water at the seagulls and utilizing fake birds to scare off the pests.

Thanks to Bailey, who wears a life jacket for when duty calls for extreme measures, the birds have begun to build their nests elsewhere.
