Man throws pizza at police because they impounded his car

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly throwing pizza at a police officer who impounded his car, according to police in Pennsylvania.

Dallas police said that they have arrested 44-year-old Sean Mulloy, after being accused of showing up at the police station and punching the police officer who impounded his vehicle for drunk driving.

Mulloy has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Luzerne County jail, and his bail was set at $150,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Mulloy showed up at the police station on Thursday, and began to wrap a chain around a railing of the building.

He also brought with him a statue and a box of pizza.

When the police officer who arrested Mulloy last week for drunk driving confronted him, Mulloy started throwing punches and pizza at the officer.

Mulloy only stopped the attack after he was shot with a Taser.

Officer James Martin was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
