Jennifer Lopez rakes in $1M in ticket sales in one day, beats Britney Spears’ record

Eight months in, Jennifer Lopez’s “All I Have” residency in Las Vegas is a hotter ticket than ever. JLo has, in fact, broken Britney Spears’ one-day box office record at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Lopez, 47, and Spears, 34, share the Las Vegas venue for their blockbuster concerts, but “Jenny from the Block” has topped the pop princess in one-day sales after surpassing the $1 million mark in ticket sales, according to Billboard.

Lopez kicked off her 17-month gig in Sin City at the beginning of the year. Spears’ residency began in December 2013.

Last month, it was announced that Lopez was going to be staying much longer than first planned “due to overwhelming demand.”

Planet Hollywood’s official Twitter account announced on July 18 that Lopez had added 21 new shows to “All I Have.”

The show’s set list highlights some of her biggest hits, including “If You Had My Love,” “Jenny From the Block,” “Let’s Get Loud,” “Waiting for Tonight,” “On the Floor” and many more.

Lopez has attracted a star-studded crowd all year to her show that has included Justin Bieber, Gina Rodriguez, Wilmer Valderrama, Kim Kardashian, Cheryl Burke, Derek Hough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hoda Kotb, Leah Remini and even JLo’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
