Guinness record-holding barber shaves Erdoğan’s portrait into assistant’s hair

A barber living in the capital Ankara has shaved a portrait of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan into his assistant’s hair as a show of love for the leader.

A holder of a Guinness World Record, barber Ercan Buyruk said it took eight hours of non-stop work to shape his assistant’s hair into the form of the president’s portrait by using only scissors and an open razor.

“We have been feeling the love of our president in our hearts. As a barber, I wanted to reflect that love in hair. We have already engraved this love in our hearts, let alone our heads,” Buyruk said.

The barber said he entered the Guinness World Records Book by shaving 363 people in 24 hours, adding he had won numerous world and European championships for his hairstyle creations.
