Graphic: Bodies of African migrants who died when boats sank wash ashore in Tripoli, Libya

Sad!
The bodies of African migrants who drowned trying to cross the
Mediterranean were found washed up on a beach in Maya town, some 28 km
west of Tripoli, Libya.
Last week, the Mayor of Sabratah, Hasan Al-Thuwadi said that more than
120 bodies surface on a daily basis on the city’s beaches. He added
that 53 bodies were found last week.

Sabratha is one of the main jumping off points for migrants who aim at
crossing the Mediterranean to Europe in search of greener pasture.
