Fire razes popular food company in Ibadan

The popular Sumal Food Company owned by Lebanese investors in Ibadan, Oyo State, was razed by fire on Sunday.

The inferno, which extended overnight, destroyed property worth billions of naira in one of the subsidiaries of Sumal Groups of companies, along Town Planning Road, Oluyole Industrial Estate, Ibadan.

The raging fire, according to eyewitnesses, started around few minutes past 10:00pm. The inferno later spread rapidly across various outlets and offices within the company
