Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel feud is a ‘Wrestlemania PR stunt for Fast 8’

Dwayne Johnson’s rant reportedly aimed at co-star Vin Diesel is a PR stunt for a planned WWE wrestling match, according to reports.

Dwayne previously (and bizarrely) ranted on social media about some of his male co-stars while filming for Fast 8, calling one of them a ‘candy ass’ and ‘chicken sh*t’, with reports suggesting the target was none other than Fast & Furious veteran Vin Diesel.

Furthermore around the comments has since bubbled with Dwayne leaving out Vin Diesel on a recent ‘thank you’ post, but according to Life&Style, the whole rivalry is a PR stunt for Fast 8 and a planned WWE wrestling match.

Speaking to Life&Style, an insider claims: ‘The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.’

There’s some validity to the theory too considering WWE’s Wrestlemania happens on April 2, so it would certainly be in line for some outrageous promotion.

While Dwayne may have simply gone power mad after being labelled the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, his comments on Facebook certainly seemed weirdly off-brand for a star whose ‘nice guy’ reputation has been so well-ingrained.

If anything we wouldn’t mind being ‘played’ by this stunt, considering a WWE match between The Rock and Vin Diesel lies at the end of the magical fabricated rainbow.

Can you smell what The Rock is cooking? We smell potential lies, deceit and nicely orchestrated betrayal.
