Rapper Drake missed out on accepting the first Moonman of the night at Sunday’s MTV VMAs because he was stuck in traffic, according to Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Combs, who presented an absent Drizzy with the Best Hip Hop Video (For “Hotline Bling”), accepted on his behalf after telling the crowd why he was missing in action. Drake, who is nominated for multiple VMAs, also missed his rumored girlfriend, Rihanna’s first two performances, including her sexy onstage rendition of their song, “Work.”
On Saturday, the “O to 100” rapper bought RiRi a giant billboard congratulating her Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
