A pregnant teen died after the vehicle she was traveling in slammed into a parked BMW, according to police in California.
San Jose police said that 18-year-old Dulce Araceli Capetillo Hernandez, died after suffering injuries as a result of the car crash.
Hernandez was a passenger in a silver Honda Civic.
The driver of the car, who was not the father of her child, swerved off of the road and hit a black BMW 745 that was parked on Highway 101.

The 20-year-old driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital after suffering minor injuries. 22-year-old Hung Ton Duy Tran, who was sitting the parked BMW, was also injured and was taken to a hospital.
Police determined that he was drunk at the time, and he was placed under arrest. Doctors managed to deliver Hernandez’s baby alive, but the child in critical condition.
