Bride poses for mugshot in her wedding dress after being arrested moments before she got married

A bride in the United Kingdom, had her heart broken after being arrested moments before exchanging vows with her husband on immigration crimes.

Home Office officials said that they have arrested 45-year-old Cecilia Siaw of Hants, after being accused of purchasing a false immigration document in order to extend her stay in the country.

Siaw was at the Portsmouth Register Office, where she was getting ready to marry her fiance of Germany. She was taken to the police station, where she posed for a mug shot, wearing her wedding gown and finest jewelry.

In court, a judge has sentenced Siaw to serve six months in prison after being convicted of one count of possession of an identity document with improper intention and one count of overstaying a visa.

According to the police investigation, Siaw entered the country legally three years ago. When her visa expired, she bought a false immigration document from a man for $5,000.

Her crime came to light after using her document to get a job.
