Hotel guests were shocked to learn that a dead transgender woman was underneath their bed as they slept overnight, according to police in Thailand.
Pattaya police said that they have arrested two boys, 14 and 17 years old, after being accused of killing 28-year-old Amphon Kongsong, because she asked for sex.
According to the police investigation, Kongsong’s body was found underneath a hotel bed on Saturday morning. On Friday night, the room’s guests called staff members to report a strange odor in their room.
The room was sprayed and the couple spent the night with the dead body.
On Saturday morning, the hotel alerted police after a maid noticed blood under the bed accompanied by a nauseating stench after the guests who complained the night before checked out.
Police officers lifted the mattress and found the body of Kongsong. Police questioned the guests of that room, and were led the boy who admitted to killing the transgender woman.
The 17-year-old boy said he killed Kongsong, who asked to have sex with him as they were staying in the hotel room along with a 14-year-old boy.
He strangled her with his hands while the 14-year-old boy restrained the woman. The two boy then put her body under the mattress and fled from the scene.
