A young woman, who was pursuing her dreams of being a model, was found naked on a road.
23-year-old Stephanie Magon Ramirez of Mexico City, Mexico, has done modeling and catwalks.
When she received an offer to work for a modeling agency in Colombia, she decided to take the offer.
After Ramirez signed a six-month contract with the agency, she left her four-year-old son in the care of her husband, and she moved to Colombia to pursue her career.
There, she lived in an apartment with other models. Just 14 days after she arrived, Ramirez was found naked and dead outside her apartment.
The cause of her death is still unknown as there has been many conflicting reports over her injuries.
Senior judge Edgar Elias Azar reportedly said that the woman was beaten to death. “She suffered what appears to have been numerous blows, or in other words, she was beaten to death,” he said.
However, police later claimed that the case was an accident, saying that Ramirez fell off the roof of her apartment building and plunged 40 feet to her death on the road below.
An employee from the modeling agency who hired Ramirez, said that she has been out drinking and partying before her death.
“She was seen in a bad state in the toilet, and when they took her home, she was so drunk and drugged that she simply fell from the terrace,” the employee said.
However, Ramirez’s friends strongly dispute this, saying that the young woman did not drink and she never took drugs. They also said that she was too far into the road to having fallen off the roof. They claim that she was thrown off by someone.
