Women stage a peaceful protest over the KILLING of their monarch in Bokkos, Plateau State by suspected herdsmen

Women in Bokkos LGA of Plateau State on Wednesday, July 20, staged a
peaceful protest to show their grievances over the gruesome killing of
their traditional ruler.

Sir Lazarus Agai, the traditional ruler of the Ron/Kulere tribe of
Bokkos LGA was murdered by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday, July 18.

The monarch was ambushed and murdered along along with his wife, son and
bodyguard on his way back home from a farm at Sha village in Bokkos.

The women, clad in black clothes, carried placards through the streets
of Bokkos.
