A teen was arrested on a charge of drunk driving after allegedly
driving her car drunk with four little children inside, according to
police in New York.
The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 19-year-old
Sabrina Macri of Long Island, after being accused of driving drunk in
middle of the day and telling police that people her age drink all the
time.
Macri was charged with driving while intoxicated, child endangerment and
possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into jail, and her
bail was set at $10,000.
According to the police, around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nicole Diaz
called the police to say that Macri was intoxicated while trying to find
her car.
Once she found her car, she tried to drive away with four children who
were in her care, aged 4 to 11. Diaz used her own car to block Macri
from leaving until officers arrived.
As she was being arrested, Macri told the officers that people her age
drink alcohol all the time and the police are f***king losers.
